On the market in London

What to know about London
London is the largest city in southwestern Ontario, with more than 420,000 people at the 2021 census. Western University, Fanshawe College and London Health Sciences Centre keep demand steady, and the 401 and 402 put Toronto, Windsor and Sarnia within reach.
Each neighbourhood has its own feel. Old South and Wortley Village are tree-lined older streets. Byron and Westmount are established family areas. North London around Masonville and Hyde Park has newer homes, and Lambeth and Riverbend are still being built out.

Talk to TedLondon questions
Does London, Ontario have a municipal land transfer tax?
No. Only Toronto does. London buyers pay Ontario's land transfer tax alone: $8,475 on a $600,000 home, less up to $4,000 for an eligible first-time buyer.
Can I search a London street or condo building?
Yes. Type the street into the search, for example Richmond Street, or add the city after a comma: "Richmond Street, London".
How far is London from Toronto?
About two hours by car on Highway 401, depending on traffic. VIA Rail also runs between the two cities.
Why do some London listings show a district such as "London South"?
The local board files London listings by district (North, South, East and West). This site groups them all under London, so a London search shows every one.
